🐍🐍 SNAKES BITE BACK 🐍🐍

After last weeks defeat to King Cross spirits were low. Pep Coates was missing 2 important players, his captain 95% Phill and work horse, come journey man Dawson. Decisions had to be made, so he called himself up to put some passion back into the defence. This decision left Thrum hall with no manager on the side lines (with the ass man away on business) so step up Andy ‘sicknote’ Sudall.

Kick off came, Thrum Hall started calmly, not wanting to conceded after 12 seconds again! They were playing well but the ref loved his whistle blowing for offsides and free kicks regularly, a soft free kick was giving at the edge of the Thrum Hall box and up stepped Ellandians very own Roberto Carlos who smashed a free kick which beat Stanger no problem. With Pep raging in defence Thrum Hall played some beautiful football, a great move came when jay played a wonderful pass to D. Suddal who scored with ease. Thrum Hall were on top moving the ball quicker, and, winning challengers.

The Ref called for a drinks break (WTF) Pep barked more orders and we went back on to the battleground, his orders worked. Brucey played a ball forward, the keeper gambled, and failed. Star man Gibby took it round him and scored, 2 - 1 Thrum Hall. Get in. 35 min into the game Dale, who had put a lot of energy in to the game, departed (still upset that Hibs were losing). Step up the Cobra Casey hissing as he came on to the pitch. Just as half time was coming Pep played a huge clearance up field Gibby chased it and the keeper fucked up, playing the ball onto Gibby who in turn scored a stunner, 3 - 1.

The Second half began, Thrum Hall were on top calmly moving the ball around then on 62 minutes just like in his Weavers days Pep took a Knock he went down like Mcgregor. Jesse came on and Hembers was moved back into defence. ?? The game was end to end Casey missing 4 or 5 good chances even rounding the keeper but still failed to hit the target. The ref still loving his whistle gave another free kick on the edge of Thrum Halls box. Roberto Carlos left it for Pirlo, this time he hit the wall which deflected of J. Suddal and was heading to the top corner, but a bit of redemption for Stanger, after he fucked up in the first half, making a great save. However, just before the 90th minute the Thrum Hall defence was beaten again, by a good goal. We entered stoppage time and played on and on and on, 8 fucking minutes, it felt like a life time as they poured forward looking for the equaliser. But with Carl Canon and the impressive Hembers bossing the defence it didn't come. Full time 3 - 2 Thrum Hall.
