Report:

A rough and ready type win for The Fozzers this evening, as they took on a well oiled WMS side, but defensive and goalkeeping errors on both side led to a game for the attackers, as it was goals galore on this late spring night. Having had to start with 6 players, WMS showed good attacking intent throughout though were significantly lacklustre at the back. Holloway had a poor game between the sticks for The Fozzers. Several embarrassing blunders led to a number of easy goals for WMS, however a number of late saves aswell as a penalty stoppage, gave the fozzers late hope. It was maybe the absence of the mountain, Sam Kirby, in defence that contributed to a number of goals though, as some WMS players were allowed too much time on the ball, and free reign on shots at times. Anoszczenko and Suddick started at the back, although Hughes also found himself drifting back to cover. The three lads did a decent job operating a revolving door defence, but the clear leadership of Kirby at the back was sorely missed. Suddick, when advancing forward had a stellar game. Playing puppet master, he made a number of good passes and forward runs, with 3 outstanding goals to add to this season's tally. One goal was elite level, with the ball curled beautifully in to the top left corner. Gask-Clarke made a big improvement on last weeks performance, with a good level of energy going forward aswell as tracking back when needed. He provided a number of assists, and if he keeps playing in this way he'll only get better. Choudhury started on the other wing and looked to impress after last weeks poor showing. He certainly showed more energy this time out, and showed a stronger defensive side than usual. However, he did find himself in sticky situations at times that he just couldn't get out off. Gremayoko started back up top and bagged himself 3 good goals, including a penalty. The larger than life character is surely revelling in his return to the number 9 spot. Scallon made a decent appearance of the bench, his best performance yet. Scoring a cheeky goal, he just needs to work on his ballplay and work rate and he'll soon be on his way to a starting spot. Emery, the club's new signing, failed to make an impact on his debut, but an unorthodox approach to the game could see him being a potential problem for opposition teams in the future.

There was no sight of Jamal Gask-Clarke, as a rumored big money move to Barcelona, has led to him taking 'emergency leave'.
