Bushey Beat Hendon Youth In An Exceptional 5-3 Game

After a few weeks off with no football the Bushey boys looked raring to go. The line-up starting Oscar in goal, Arav and Zac at the back, with Anthony in the centre of the park. Leaving Remi and Zino on the wing and Jack up top. Luca and Kamil starting on the bench looking to make an impact. As the game kicks off Bushey come out the blocks very quickly, applying pressure to the Hendon defence. Few shots from Zino and Remi come close from range. On the counterattack Remi strides towards the Hendon goal where he is tackled and the loose ball falls to Kamil, who smashed in home to make it 1-0. From there with the momentum Anthony picks up the ball in his own half and takes on 3,4 players before slotting it past the keeper to make it 2-0. The game looking very much in Bushey’s favour, sees Anthony pick up the ball again and switch the play over to Zino on the right wing. Zino takes one touch out his feet and buries home for TFA making it 3-0. Am out of the blue chance comes from a defensive mistake at the back leading to a Hendon goal from a corner, 3-1. After conceding Oscar plays the ball to Luca who skills up a player and fires the ball into Jack who finishes sublimely making it 4-1. After building the lead Hendon start to build some momentum putting Bushey under pressure. With the pressure mounting Hendon score 2 goals in quick succession making it a close 4-3 with 5 minutes to go. But, as Hendon were committed to attacking they were caught out to a quick counterattack from Anthony who plays the ball to Jack for a 1 v 1 against the goalkeeper. Jack calmly finishes off a superb counterattack and performance for the blues, 5-3 end result.
