3 In A Row!

The kids were beaming before todays game following 2 recent wins. They were all excited to get playing today.

The game started well with Tansley having plenty of the ball but snatching shots and passes, until Alfie ran on to a great through pass from Charlie, did a little drag back and shot from the edge of the box to make it 1-0. A good bit of determination from Josh to tackle their defenders gave him chance which he took very well to make it 2. Soon followed by a good finish from Charlie and we were 3-0 up and looking really comfortable. Unfortunate to conceded 1 goal before half time although it was very good. In the second half we started a little slow and although there were good chances for Farley and some other chances, we slipped 2 more goals and was at 3-3 with a few minutes remaining. Which they didnt deserve as Both Bens, and Keira had defended really well throughout. Luckily for us, Tansley weren't in the mood for a draw, as practiced, Alfie pressed after their goal kick, won the ball from their defender and scored a great winner with about 2 minutes to go! The game ended with Tansley as deserved winners. But what a brilliant game of football for both teams!
