Golds traveled down to Ayr to face a new team in the league Whitletts Vics.
With a 9 player squad Captained by Phoenix McCutcheon the Golds were up for the game with a 2-3-1 formation.
The Golds took control of the game from the start with the first goal coming in a the 6 minute mark coming in from a great finish from Andrew Watson and what was to be the start of the quality goals scored in the game by all the goalscorers.
The Golds dominated the play with outstanding set plays, picking up the ball looking for each other then delivering perfect passes in what was not an ideal playing surface with the long grass.
The Golds finished on the ward work they were demonstrating and took the lead in the game, although Whitletts managed to push 3 nice well deserved goals in before the end of the first half.
Going into the second half it was all golds, with some outstanding plays, passing and shooting the score grew with perfect finishes from Bobby Reid, Pehonix McCutcheon, Andrew Watson, Douglas Schendal, Cole Bothwick and Ayden Kennedy.
A couple of hard tackles being put in by Whitletts didn't stop the team performing which was enjoyed by all watching the game.
It was evident that the training sessions were being followed and delivered on the pitch when needed.
The Golds wish Whitletts a good season and look forward to the return home game.
Back to training this week to work hard on plays to meet Ayr Caledonian next Saturday.
