Excellent performance from the boys today against a strong Greengairs side in good form across the first months of the season. 4-0 up after 20 minutes - in a first half packed with drive and energy. Could've had a few more before the break. Tyler and Max took knocks and had to come off for a spell after 30mins which interrupted our flow a little.
Another hattrick for Dan and one for Emmanuel in first half. Intensity dropped a bit in the second half but should have added a couple more before Shay made it 5. Great to have the full squad fit and available now - that's 6-1, 21-0, 9-2 and 5-0 across the last 4 games and hitting our stride. Great to see Evan make his competitive debit today - really solid at the back.
MOTM - a number of very good performances across the team today made the choice difficult, especially with the full squad all playing across the 80mins. Fin, Max and Tyler brought tremendous energy in midfield. Dan with yet another hattrick, and Ellis with his usual composed display at the back and later stepping into midfield. However with a very assured performance at the back, winning the vast majority of his duels, using the ball well - today's award goes to Evan on his competitive debut. A great addition to a strong squad.
