The SSAFC picked up a very convincing 10-0 win Saturday morning over at Meadway Playing Fields in a game which the SSAFC dominated.

The SSAFC got off to the perfect start when good pressure from Deards got the ball back and gave the ball to Dunn who's 25 yard effort dipped beneath the bar and in to make it 1-0. Shortly it was 2 when Teale found space on the edge of the box and unleashed a fine strike into the far corner giving the keeper no chance. The SSAFC were dominating and Dutton wasted two good chances both going wide. The 3rd came when Teale's footwork gave him the room and his shot was powerfully put into the net giving the keeper no chance. The SSAFC backline dealt with what Northampton offered with Stephenson in goal not being tested at all.

Rowe then got on the ball when the ball was worked well to the edge of the box and his effort with the aid of a deflection looped over the keeper and in. 4-0 within 35 minutes and the SSAFC looking hungry for more goals! The 5th came right before half time when the ball went out to the left and Carroll whipped in a lovely back post cross for Teale to complete his hat trick with a header to make it 5-0 going into half time.

The SSAFC started the second half like they ended the first, on top and looking for goals. The 6th goal came from a lovely whipped in cross from Jackson who found Ridley who's header was well saved but only parried into Devall who slotted home. Devall then got his second after a great workrate on the right from him and cutting inside before hitting a sweet strike into the top corner, a class finish.

Teale then got his 4th of the game when McKechnie got to the byline and sent in a low cross which found Teale who's trickery and footwork got him into a shooting position and his effort was powered in off the bar to make it 8-0. Credit to Northampton who kept going but the SSAFC were on domianting form and made it 9 and it was a first goal for Daniel Ridley after a lovely Matt Jackson free kick was whipped into the box and Ridley got infront of Dunn and headed home. Dunn wasnt to be denied and got the last goal from a corner when his header was parried into the net by the keeper to make it 10-0.

A positive performance and result to match for the SSAFC.
