A 4 goal haul from striker Steven Teale sealed a tough victory for the SSAFC against a resolute MK Dons side.

The game started slowly and the SSAFC found themselves behind when their striker smashed home from outside the box following some poor defending. The SSAFC looked to get back on level terms and did following a loose ball Teale picked it up and hit a low daisy cutter shot which found the corner making it 1-1.

The SSAFC made it a quick second goal and Teale again who was set up well and his volley found the net to make it 2-1. MK looked to get back into the game but found Campbell in good form who made a good low save at feet. The MK keeper then made a good save tipping over from a Devall effort.

The SSAFC then got their third goal when Devall was fouled outside the box and Teale stepped up and curled into the bottom corner to make it 3-1 just before half time.

The second half started slowly in terms of attacking but kept the ball well with the debutant Jamie Drackford blasting over after good work. Paul Sapsed then was picked out beautifully but his effort cannoned off the post before Jeorge Wedge blasted wide.

The 4th did come and it was that man Teale who peeled out wide and Drackford picked out a lovely weighted pass to his path and Teale smashed it home making it 4-1.

MK looked to get back into the game and had a good few chances which they should have done better with. Campbell made a good save low before the MK lad went through but somehow missed the target after springing the offside trap.

MK then got one back when Sapsed was caught in possession and their midfielder rolled it into the path of the striker who passed it into an empty net.

The game slowed down before the final whistle but the game was called 3 minutes before hand due to an MK lad getting a serious injury when his foot was caught in the grass and twisted his knee after a tackle.
