On what was a bouncy pitch in Feltham, the SSAFC sealed their first away win of the season with a good 5-1 victory over Hampton & Richmond.
The SSAFC needed a good start and got one when good play in the middle released Jeorge Wedge on the right and his cross-shot found Jack Dunn at the back post who slotted home making it 1-0 within 5 minutes.
The SSAFC then doubled their advantage when a lovely long ball over the top from Danny Wishart found Jamie Woolf who headed past the defender into a shooting position and his volley was low into the net giving the keeper no chance.
Hampton then got a way back into the game and its a moment George Main would like to forget as he miskicked it straight to the striker who chipped over Main to make it 2-1.
The SSAFC then had some decent chances firstly Wedge was put through and he chose not be greedy and pass it to Dutton who was unable to get any contact on it.
Dutton then had 2 golden chances in the space of a min when Rowe played himself out of trouble and played a long 60 yard ball to Dutton who's header was parried onto the post. The rebound fell out on the right and Wedge crossed in to a free Dutton who headed wide.
Hampton had their chances with a good chance being blazed over but nothing that troubled Main in goal. Ridley has a header go over and was unable to connect with another goalmouth scramble before the half time whistle went.
The SSAFC welcomed back Lewis Collins and Tim Chesworth at the break and it was Collins that made an instant impact.
The ball was won in midfield and Collins cut inside from the left before hitting a sweet strike from 30 yards out which dipped into the top corner, a sure contender for goal of the season.
Collins then doubled his tally when good work from Dunn on the left got the ball and crossed into Wedge who cleverly headed back to Collins who passed his man and slotted home.
Collins then had a golden chance for the hat trick when Dunn again on the wing crossed in which Wedge flicked on but Collins hit over the bar.
Swales then rattled the crossbar from a fierce shot before Collins fired over after a deflected shot from Bell. Bell then had an effort straight at the keeper before Dutton had a volley well saved.
Hampton had some decent chances with their striker blazing wide. Hampton then hit the bar before the rebound was gathered by Main.
The 5th came and it was Stuart Rowe with a cushioned header after a lovely floated cross from Dunn who found Rowe at the back post.
Rowe then got booked after mistiming a tackle but the free kick came to nothing. Hampton had the last real chance but fired wide before the whistle went.
