At the third time of asking this new look Town side managed to put in a home performance that the club support could be proud of. With joint manager Steve away it was left for Dom and the back room team to set the side up looking for a response to the inept performance just three days prior and they didn't disappoint.

Into the side came the freshly signed Anwar Olugbon, a powerful striker that had been deemed surplus to requirements at Bridgnorth. Having worked with him previously Dom was quick to act and bring him to Evans Park. This was a sterling team effort throughout and everyone started extremely brightly, taking the game to Studley immediately. Within the quarter hour mark the visitors seemed a bit shocked to find themselves to goals in arrears with two finished from the debutant Olugbon. On seven minutes a pin perfect cross from Connor Leek was headed home and just six minutes later it was the energetic central midfielder Charlie Swingwood who surged forward and cut back for Anwars second, this time an open bodied, right foot finish.

Two goal Olugbon who had started the game nursing an ongoing calf injury was replaced at the interval by Rey Carbon. Ten minutes after the restart and Studley halved the deficit which appeared to knock the home sides confidence somewhat.

The home goal lived a charmed life at times but credit where it's due as the lads in red defended for their lives making last ditch tackles and throwing bodies and in some cases heads in the way to repel the constant attacks.

The referees whistle was a welcome sound as Town secured their second vistory of the new campaign.
