St Michaels started this Local Derby full of confidence and hopeful of gaining revenge from their Cup Final defeat two years previous. The game started at a fierce pace with the game flowing from end to end with neither side gaining the advantage.

Eight minutes before half Time the status Quo changed when a mistake in the St Michaels goal by Harry Graham gave Sevenacres an easy goal to take the lead which remained at Half Time 0 – 1.

The second half continued as the first and either side could have scored a goal or two but both defences were in control until 15 minutes from the end when Sevenacres got their second goal and then with only 10 minutes to go and St Michaels pushing for a goal they made it 0 – 3 which was the full time score.

Whilst the result was a deserved one for Sevenacres the scoreline did not reflect the balance of the game.

St Michaels played well but were beaten by the better side on the day. Good performances from Harry Graham and Connor Reardon but Man of the Match goes to Captain Sam Meade for a tremendous performance at the Heart of the Defence.
