<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">St Michaels started this game hoping for a win after defeats in their last 2 matches. They started this game brightly on a difficult frosty pitch and after 15 minutes a good cross from Adam Fahy left Stuart Bird with an easy tap in to open the scoring. After 34 minutes a corner from Danny Baptiste was firmly headed in by Sam Meade to make the score 2 &ndash; 0.&nbsp; Whilst St Michaels were dominating play AFC Heathside got back into the match with a goal right on the stroke of half time.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">The timing of this goal gave A F C Heathside the impetus and 2 minutes into the second half a corner caused trouble in the St Michael&rsquo;s defence and was converted to level the scores at 2 &ndash; 2. Four minutes later however St Michaels regained the lead with a cross from Adam Fahy being tapped in by Jack Jolly. After 64 minutes Charlie Nichols came on to make his debut as a replacement for Jack Jolly. Four minutes later another cross from Adam Fahy found Danny Baptiste who tapped in to make the score 4 &ndash; 2. Three minutes later a pass from Stuart Bird found Charlie Nichols who notched his first goal for the club. On 72 minutes Arran Amer came on for Danny Baptiste. Six minutes later a corner from Adam Fahy was palmed in by the A F C Heathside keeper but somewhat controversially the goal was given to Adam Fahy. With 4 minutes left Adam Fahy was brought down in the box and Tom Pexton stepped up to place the penalty low into the corner of the net. The scoring wasn&rsquo;t over and with a minute to go another Adam Fahy cross was put in by Arran Amer for his first goal of the season making the final score 8 &ndash; 2 to St Michaels.

<p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify; margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt;">A much better performance from St Michaels with good performances from all of the team. Also the first time that the team had scored 8 goals in a match. Special mentions for Tom Pexton and Sam Meade and also for Adam Fahy who as well as scoring one goal he assisted in 5 others. Man of the match however goes for the first time to Ryan Nibbs who was inspirational in midfield with a tremendous battling no nonsense performance.
