Away league match

A damp and very windy Sunday morning meant it was going to be a very difficult game, 1st half against the wind the tigers started bright some nice neat passing on the floor but after 7mins a cheap freekick conceded allowed UPR to load the box and a long swirling ball not taken cleanly by the normally very reliable Zain allowed UPR to nick in and take the lead. UPR then went on to try and make the wind count playing long balls trying to catch out the Tigers back line. A well drilled performance from the back 5 allowed UPR nothing and after 18mins the Tigers changed things up a lovely run by Dom and cut back fell to Caydon who does what he does best and put the ball away to make it 1-1. Going in 1-0 down was what the tigers where hoping for to nick an equaliser just before half time was a massive bonus things only got better when Samuel who was man handled on the left wing managed to poke the ball to Ethan who then played in to Codey for the ball to be switch 35 yards to the right wing and Jake with a beautiful run picked Dom out on the edge of the box who coolly slotted away Tiger went in 2-1 against the wind.

Hal time team talk was more of the same and use the wind to your advantage seems it fell on deaf ears as the start was not ideal 2 absolutely top draw saves rom Zain kept the score line at 2-1 then from a corner and some slack marking UPR stole in and managed to nick an equaliser this seemed to deflate the Tigers and UPR had battled back and where not gonna give up some half chances for both team and some real meaty tackles neither team created many chances with 4mins to go and a draw looking like the end result a tearing run from Tommy down the right wing managed to put inch perfect cross in a perfectly timed jump and header by Alfie left the keeper no chance and in to the top corner sparking wild celebrations. Tigers managed to see out the remaining few mins and take all 3 points.
