Sporting Weston F.C. bounced back from last weeks horrific defeat, and produced a strong and accomplished performance against a Cleeve West Town side that battled for the first half, but ultimately were just not good enough on the day.

The match started with Andy Galvin having to pull off a fine save to deny the oppositions number 10. Then Sporting Weston F.C. dominated proceedings with Kyle Havard in fine passing form, creating chances at will - on another day Luke Kershaw and Sam Newton could have had a hat-trick apiece.

The goal inevitably arrived from a Kyle Havard cross, which the impressive Scott Muirhead nodded home unmarked in the box. Sporting Weston F.C. had to wait a while for the next goal, but my it was special; Gary Booth found Kyle Havard and he danced through Cleeve's defence before firing an unstoppable shot into the top corner. Andy Galvin had to make one more save low to his right before Stu Morse lifted his leg higher than he has ever done in his entire life to volley/bicycle kick a cross from Joe Christie nto the net. It was intelligence play from Joe Christie - his quick thinking created the chance. There was still time for Kyle Havard to set up a Cleeve defender to show some of the Sporting Weston F.C. players how it's done; and score a well taken OG.

MotM went to Kyle Havard for his goal, two assists and creative display, but Louis Ashley ran him close with a disciplined and extremely effective performance.
