First game in the challenge cup this season and what a game it was. Wicor Mill royals were the visitors today.
Originally scheduled for 10.45, pressure from the opposition got us kicking off at 10.40 not before the team mascot had a go at our manager over the kick off time.
Right from the get go we made it hard for Wicor who had to work hard to find any space we were compact and pretty solid.
Just about half way through the half we win a penalty which is calmly put home by Harry.
Understandibly with so much at stake banter gets taken wrong and a few words said at half time. Second half underway Tomlin gets booked for kicking the ball away and Wicor miss an open goal even though their striker was judged to be offside. On the break we go 2-0 up.
Linesman on their team tried to have it out with our gaffer but Ryan stepped in to save the day.
In dreamland we were and then bang 5 minutes before time Harry completes his hattrick and through to the next round we go.
