Match Report - NORTH END LIONS FIRST - 22 Aug 2021

Last game at the Park for Southletico and no more having to ring 8346 times to get through to make payment. But a little sad that we arent playing there again.

Bit of a personal rivalry this week and there was a huge questions as to whether the opponents old gaffer would show but he did. Looking like Sgt Slaughter with his shades he tried to get the wind up his team. Southletico however had the last laugh today. Absolute class from start to finish. Establishing a 3 goal lead by half time courtesy of Chad x 2 and a solitary H goal. Second half out came the kicks and the wind ups but they didnt work and we played right through it. Another 2 from H and a bit to to me to you from Mark and Danny made it 6. North End Lions did pull one back bit of poor defending and a hint of offside. We could have had alot more if Si, and Mark found their shooting boots. I am sure it will come but we have the makings of a musical band with King Harry and the mis-a-lots need to get this sorted during the season if we want to keep momentum. Who are we playing next week? No one knows, where are we playing? No one knows but with this fight and attitude we will give anyone a game.
