First trip to Havant Academy and not a happy memory. The penalty spot being on a slope steeper than mount kilimanjaro was the only thing to smile about.
Ref was stricter than Miss Trunchball from Matilda penalising every push and every piece of foul language but before you could say f*** Southletico were 4-0 down. I believe we are still looking for our midfield now.
Half time shouting ensued and if you have ever seen 16 men all trying to shout over each other with a ref telling them off for swearing...... you didnt see it here as only 5 people in the team speak. Some sense must have been made as Southletico pulled 2 goals back, we were making a come back until the midfield went missing again. Freehouse danced through the midfield and defence like Bruce Forsyth and our team watched in awe as we conceded again. Nice to see it to see it.......... nice!! We pulled another one back just to be done at the end. Full time 6-3 to Freehouse.
Hopefully our midfield gets found and we actually start playing like we can before the cup games start, or the only cups we will be holding will be the polysteirine ones full of coffee from the burger van.
A little piece of me got left behind at Havant Academy hopefully they use it to fill in the penalty spot.
