Good turnout today around 8 spectators (not including the 11 in blue shirts for the last 10 minutes). Controversy never far away from us the ref who was 10 mins away never showed up so Grandad Dave stepped in. It was actually a really decent start from Southletico very tight defensively and got to half time 1-0 up well worked move great assist from Clayton and a great header from Harry. Under the thunderstorm I can confirm lightning does strike twice (or 6 times in our world) as we conceded very early on the second half. 1-1 the tonic. Not the most pulsating game but a good football match all the same. A couple of little niggles but no one trying to fight anyone or have a dust up was as refreshing as a maccy ds coke. 2-1 down on 68 and 3-1 down on 74. Second half itis had truly hit us hard bit we rallied and H pulled one back after being set up nicely by Chad (these 2 will get married one day imagine the number 10 they produce) Then the heavens opened and as the claps of thunder rang around the Leigh Park Arena it was 4-2 then 5-2. Maybe the rain maybe Dave cant stand not playing or maybe he just dont want to ref but called early and everyone shot of home wet through. Some positives in this but also some really sloppy play. Need to improve but we go again.
