In a commanding display of football, Soccer For All (SFA) triumphed over Black Titans with a resounding 5-0 victory in a friendly match held at the University of Ibadan on 1st September 2025. The match kicked off at 3:00 PM, and SFA showcased their attacking prowess throughout the encounter, leaving their opponents struggling to keep pace.

SFA lined up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, designed to maximise their attacking potential while maintaining a solid defensive structure. Tomiwa Babalola took his position in goal, shielded by a back three consisting of Chukwuemeka Ekemezie in the centre, flanked by David Jay-Jay on the right and Obinna Kingsley on the left. The midfield was anchored by Abdulsomod Kolawole and Adeola Ayandogu in central roles, with Peter Adeoti and Obaloluwa Opara providing width as right and left midfielders, respectively. The attacking trio featured Abdul-samad Adewole and Ebuka Akandu supporting lone striker Emmanuel Okedigba, who was tasked with leading the line.

The substitutes for SFA included Akorede Obatuyi and Olawale Samuel, who would later play pivotal roles in the match.

The scoring opened in the 19th minute when Adeola Ayandogu found the back of the net with a well-placed shot inside the box, giving SFA an early lead. The momentum continued to build as the home side dominated possession and created numerous chances.

As the first half drew to a close, SFA doubled their advantage in the 41st minute. Emmanuel Okedigba scored with a powerful header from a corner delivered by Abdul-samad Adewole, sending the teams into the break with SFA leading 2-0.

After the interval, SFA made a tactical substitution, bringing on Akorede Obatuyi for Okedigba in the 49th minute. The change proved effective as just two minutes later, in the 51st minute, Obaloluwa Opara added to the scoreline, netting another goal with an assist from Abdul-samad Adewole, who was proving to be a key playmaker.

The onslaught continued as Akorede Obatuyi, now on the pitch, scored in the 60th minute, again assisted by the ever-influential Abdul-samad Adewole. With the score now at 4-0, SFA were firmly in control, and the Black Titans struggled to mount any significant response.

In the 73rd minute, the Titans' woes were compounded when an own goal from one of their players further extended SFA's lead to 5-0. The home side's relentless pressure had clearly taken its toll on their opponents.

As the match approached its conclusion, SFA made another substitution in the 76th minute, with Olawale Samuel replacing Adeola Ayandogu. Despite the changes, SFA maintained their dominance, comfortably seeing out the remainder of the match without any further incidents.

The final whistle confirmed a comprehensive 5-0 victory for Soccer For All, a result that highlighted their attacking flair and solid teamwork. The performance will undoubtedly serve as a confidence booster as they look ahead to future fixtures.
