Tough Game. Poor Conditions. Move On.

Difficult week, availability-wise. We were lucky to have 12 players and a proper goalkeeper after Jack made himself available in the 11th hour. A strong wind affected the game quite a lot. First half we played well, despite conceding a simple goal from a cross early on. We had 2 very good chances but Hanson and myself narrowly missed the target. They were a good side with some very skill-full players that cause havoc in the wide positions, but half time I disappointed to come in 1-0. The second half we played against the wind and we really felt it. The defence got no respite as we couldnt clear our lines at all. The scored a good goal early in the 2nd half and we lost our composure a bit. Couldn't string 2 passes together nor could we even lump it for the attackers to chase. So we were penned in for 45 mins. We defended bravely and everyone put a shift in, but it came as no surprise when the scrambled a third goal in late on. Great attitude from the lads in a really tough game. Onwards and upwards.
