SMPI Academy Triumphs Over SMPI Academy U15 In Friendly

The Mutomo Stadium played host to an engaging friendly match on 2nd March 2025, where SMPI Academy faced off against their U15 counterparts. The match concluded with a convincing 3-0 victory for SMPI Academy, showcasing their dominance throughout the encounter.

In a well-structured 4-3-3 formation, SMPI Academy deployed Hillary Wafula in goal, flanked by a solid backline consisting of Meshack Munyalo on the right, Emmanuel Nzuki and Richard Nyomo in central defence, and Thiery Nzami on the left. The midfield trio featured Kevin Macharia on the right, Peter Mutinda in the centre, and Alex Kiema on the left, while the attacking front comprised William Wambua on the right, Samuel Kyalo as the central striker, and Wisely Lwenya on the left. After a well-placed free kick caused chaos in the U15 defence, Kiema was quick to react, slotting the ball home with his right foot from close range, sealing a comprehensive victory for his side.
