Grafting And Turkey Hangovers

Luke made and excellent save to his left and come off of his line to make a great save and smother the ball. Couldn't do anything about the goal as it was just sweetly struck. Literally had nothing to do but get the ball back from behind the goal for a goal kick.

Leo played brilliant at the back against some lightning pace and managed it really well, someone I don't know how he did it but after falling over and letting the team go through clean on goal he got up and ran 20 yards and still got the ball before the attacking team. It was superb to see.

Reeve played in a few positions today and excelled in all of them, read the game well at the back and was working hard, moved him up front to be more clinical and it paid of instantly with a lovely 1-2 with Jacob for the opening goal of the game.

Levi threw himself into some big challenges and made his presence felt in the game throughout hardworking and industrious today which is all we can ask for.

Ty played some amazing passes today I particularly loved the spin he played on the ball in the first half which set us through only for the keeper to deny Jacob with a great save.

Arthur running everywhere and giving it his all had a lovely bit of skill in the second half slaloming past two players with ease. Worked really hard again.

Jacob put in the display that we are used too from him today and was working really hard dropping back and helping the midfield out had some great touches and turns and tricks aswell which caused a lot of problems.

Logan lots of running and causing problems with his pace stopped the pace of the winger from the other team with his running back and jostling.

Henley made some great tackles and some really good running at times which helped the team out again got the only goal of the game for us today with a nice strike from a lovely move

Alex first game back after his injury and was a bit lost at times scared me fore the first 5 mins when he was all over the place came alive as the game went on and settled down.

Overall we absolutely battered them with shots and possession but we just weren't clinical enough Infront of goal, could of easily scored 2/3 before half time but for some reason we are struggling to find the back of the net in a lot of games we will have a think and see what we can do better and work on this with a few drills in training.

They had literally one shot on target today and to be fair it was really sweetly struck nothing that could be done about it.

Next few weeks at training are going to be a bit different we will be breaking the boys up and working on the weakness that each player has and just sort the basic issues out which will lead us to win more games and be more productive all over the pitch.
