Toughest Game To Date

Ty has been saying for a few weeks he wants to go in goals, so we have given it a go and he paid us back ten fold today. Did really well diving at people's feet 2/3 times with absolutely no fear. Made a great save the first half to his left hand side.

Leo could win man of the match each week the fact that we have been able to move to just one at the back gives testament to how reliable he is, if Jaap Stam and Virgil can dijk had a baby they would of created Leo!!! ??

Alex made some big challenges and threw his body around to stop some breaks, edging closer to that first goal but played some good balls down the lines which released the strike force

Reeve man of the match performance brilliant run for his goal from the corner and slotted it in the corner with precision that he has got in his game. Made two amazing slide tackle blocks aswell which looked destined for goal. Really stepped his game up in a tough game and showed us all what he can do.

Arthur ran the line really well, twice he had a little dink around the player and ran on to it this is something that he has added to his game in recent weeks and it's working really well. Great determination and got his goal that he deserved for working so hard.

Luke new position today and was effective in starting the move for the second goal with a really well timed pass inside, played some excellent balls through especially in the first half from the right wing inside to Jacob was brilliant.

Jacob ran a lot today and was whipping his corners in and causing trouble all over the place when they were coming in. One assist straight from the corner and the second assist laying Arthur on from the pass from Luke. Had some great turns as well under some heavy marking.

Henley ran the line well causing issues as always with his tenacity, had some great moments of skill on the second half down the left hand side

Taaj worked hard and put the team under pressure, need a little more but I think that will come back in the following weeks on no time.

Logan ran his socks off down the wing and in a deeper midfield role, had some Excellent runs and looked up more this week to release players and looked for the pass.

Really difficult match and we were slack in parts not charging the ball down and will need too add to this going forward.

Overall we were good today lots of positives to take away I think that we struggled in places due to not playing anything over Xmas some absolute stand out performances today and some where we need to add the tenacity into the players again, which we will do and sort between ourselves and get it back for the team as a collective.

Cup win so 3 points on the group. Next game is Nova where we need a big performance to make up for that loss earlier in the season which we should of taken more from.
