Jacob started in goals to get his shift out of the way couldn't really do anything about the two goals he conceded went up top the second half and had some more direct running which opened space for the balls to come in from Reeve and Logan.
Leo played well at the back ever dependable and adds that assurance as we are weaker at the back with the rotating of the goalkeeper position, coming inside more now to play the ball forward rather than playing it safe which adds more pressure going forward.
Reeve made some great clearances and headers at the front post from the corners his link up play from defence to attack is growing each week aswell and is causing real issues for the opposing teams we are playing as he's getting very accurate with it as well.
Levi had a Stormer of a game with some very important tackles in the middle of the park, went on a great run holding 2/3 players off on his slalomn run and added another goal to his tally for the season, He completely bossed the middle of the park not letting them have any time on the ball with his hustle and bustle all action style.
Luke had some big clearances as well from the back and was a threat from the corners trying to add that feeding through ball to get the mid to attack but it's coming with a combination of work and the strike force being in the right place
Taaj made some great runs and was getting stuck in that we know he can do with his chasing down of the ball constantly listened well and was almost rewarded with a goal from a goalmouth scramble.
Ty made two really important saves towards the end of the match one coming out of his line to charge the player down and took it very precise, the second was a shot to the left of him which he got to very well.
Logan was superb with his listening and his discipline to hold his position which stopped the play from Albrightons backline when they were trying to start from goalkicks. Ran himself into the ground with the hardwork going backwards and forward
Arthur had some great runs in the first half and genuinely opens the pitch up for other players with his direct running, created a few chances by his running as well and getting inside the box to cause confusion
Henley best we have seen from Henley in my opinion he made some great runs but the best was his link up play 2/3 times he was looking for the pass and was moving straight into space to receive the ball back and get on the front foot as soon as possible. It was brilliant to see.
This was a very tough game and shows just as much as we are evolving the other teams around us are aswell and we need to continue to keep growing and put the pressure on to evolve the players at training each week.
Tough game and we made it harder by trying to fit the game time in for each player and as you can see it changes the dynamic of the game and this is what we are trying to resolve going forward
