Team line up: Katie P, Tam, Stacey, Alex (Capt)Jo, Ellie, Tracy, Scev, Casey, Jordan, and Ali. Subs: Lucy, Caitlin, Izzy, Kellie, and Emma.

We started strong playing the ball through from defence, midfield and attack. Several opportunities in the box, however, we were shut down or shots were saved by the keeper. After a fumble in our box between both teams broadstone managed to roll a ball over the line to get themselves on the score sheet. Play continued fairly equally between both teams and we decided to make our first sub ?? Jordan ?? Caitlin. With shots from Trace, Ali and Ellie which were unlucky not to come off, and then just before half time Broadstone managed to hit the net again.

After a positive team talk, the team game on fighting to control the play with hope to minimise the goal difference. Quickly into the second half we were awarded a penalty which was taken by Ali who hit the ball with force but was well saved by the broadstone keeper. The chances kept coming and we were looking more positive. Made the next sub ?? Tam ?? Izzy. However, the broadstone striker managed to get through with a great finish. We decided to shake things up ?? Tracy & Ali ?? Lucy & Jordan. Some more great tackles defensively held Broadstone off from scoring again and we made our final sub due to injury with 10mins to go ?? Jo ?? Tam.

Some great play but we were unfortunate in front of the goal today with many opportunities not coming off for us. Few things to improve and we look ahead to next week!
