Scores FC Triumphs In Thrilling Friendly Against Tick Tack

Scores FC faced off against Tick Tack in a thrilling friendly match at Chilinde Primary School on 18 January 2025. The match kicked off at 10:00 am, showcasing an exciting display of attacking football and resilience from both teams.

Scores FC adopted a 4-3-3 formation, which allowed for a dynamic approach to both defence and attack. Misheck Shumba took his position as the goalkeeper, shielded by a back four comprising Hazeel Banda on the right, Mathews Jr and Success P as central defenders, and Promise Saiti on the left. The midfield trio featured Shafi Ali on the right, Yankho Kantayeni in the centre, and Andrew Joseph on the left, providing a balance of creativity and support. Up front, Abudala J led the line as a right forward, flanked by left forward William Chipwaila and striker Josephy Lefani, who was expected to spearhead the attack.

In the 57th minute, William Chipwaila restored their lead with a spectacular long-range effort, assisted by Hazeel Banda. His right-footed strike flew past the goalkeeper, reigniting Scores FC's hopes of victory.

However, Tick Tack began to find their rhythm and struck back in the 60th minute, capitalising on a defensive mistake from Scores FC.

Tick Tack's resurgence continued, and just six minutes later, they got their second from a well-taken direct free kick, leaving the Scores FC defence scrambling.

As the match drew to a close, Scores FC held firm against Tick Tack's attempts to equalise once more. The final whistle confirmed a hard-fought 3-2 victory for Scores FC, with William Chipwaila earning the accolade of Player of the Match for his outstanding performance.
