Not the best start, the weather was blowing a gale with heavy rain and the referee did not attend the game. This resulted in manager Saunters having to officiate the game, taking himself off the team sheet leaving only the talented Brand on the bench.

Things went from bad to worse when Tackleway opened the scoring with some good passing to release the left winger who had a long range effort to beat Holland, with the help of the wind.

The early lead enabled Tackleway to grow in confidence and complete some smart plays in difficult decisions.

The Arrows were grateful for the return of Frazer Discala (after 3 game suspension) who started to show his flair in the middle of the park. One decisive pass released JonJo through on goal who finished off target. An unusual sight to see, but a promising move.

A half time talk from assistant Cusden and manager Saunters drew upon consistent errors, which were made to be rectified in the second half. Callum Brand replaced the injured Harley Discala and was influential in the midfield and attack. Brave and confident to take players on allowed his teammates to come in to the game.

The equaliser finally arrived from a Rico corner, which was floated into the 6yrd box to debut star Sam Townsend. He leapt above the two centre backs to power header the Arrows level.

With seconds left on the clock, the ball was played long down the right flank where Frazer managed to keep it alive. A quick turn and cross found the run of Davies to seal the game.
