A cool day at Carlton Park with the rain just about holding off, The rain during the week had made the pitch heavy but it was still in good condition as usual.

The away team turned up and immediately got lost going to the wrong side of the park and it turns out it was the third time they had been lost that day due to the fact that it is "So Far" to travel it must be hard to drive 25 miles all in one go.

Sax started well and bossed the game from the start and we made several chances early on with the visitors not looking like they were up for the game. It took 20 minutes before we made the pressure count and it came from a free kick in our own half that originally went to one of the opposition, Kyle won the ball back and it was played over to the right where Beaver made an excellent cross field pass toTommy he gave it to Tom Wilson who saw the keepers position and hit an excellent curling shot to the keepers left that gave him no chance. Sax 1- 0 Tattingstone. 5 minutes later Wilson was at it again after some more good play from the lads the keeper came off his line and Wilson calmly lifted the ball over him and into the back of the net another good goal and all because we were passing the ball around to feet and doing what we do best, Sax 2 - 0 Tattingstone the half carried on with the visitors having a few half chances but not threatening and Sax playing some good football but not able to find the net again.

We came out for the second half and done exactly what was spoke about at half-time get out there and get at them again from the whistle within a minute it was Sax 3 - 0 Tattingstone with the unstoppable Wilson getting another to complete his Hat-Trick and I am reliably informed the Assist was from Kyle Sore. This goal seemed to wake the visitors up and they started playing some decent football but were still looking unlikely to score until a long ball was played and Keepers ball was called onl;y for Jack to get in Beavers way and the ball bounce loose for their player to tap into an empty net. Jack did hold his hands up after the game for the first goal. This gave the visitors a boost and they soon got a second with a good finish from their player. The lads calmed down aagin and started to get back on top and create chances again but we didn't manage any more goals, Jack made up for his earlier error by making a good save when Tattingstone went through one on one and after a bit of a reshuffle we limited them to very little and saw the half out to win 3-2.

After a few draws it was nice to finish the first half of the season with 3 points and to move up the table a few places, We are looking forward to the second half of the season and picking up some more points and getting the team moving up the league.

Well done to all involved.
