Sandhurst Lose 2-0 To Farnborough

<p>With a bare 11 this week it was going to be a challenge. When luck deserts you on top of that you have no chance. Having started brightly, the first blow came on 13 minutes. Luke went on a run, burts into the penalty area and pulled up with a hamstring problem. We were down to ten, and within three minutes Farnborough took the lead with a breakaway move. Having received a yellow card on 29 minutes, Chris Davis compounded our problems with a second yellow 8 minutes later leaving us down to nine. Within tree minutes of that happening we went two nil down. We held on till half time, then made some tactical changes and Oh boy, what a second half. To say that we dominated Farnborough for the entire second half is an understatement. Anyone watching would not have believed that we were down to nine men. Sadly we were unable to take the chances we created, and luck was certainly with Farnborough as time after time the ball pinged off their defenders but would not drop for us. Things got fiery as with 15 minutes to go a bad foul on Nick failed to get the opposition player even a yellow card. That was the cue for a couple of our players to lose their composure for a few minutes, but I cant critisise that under the circumstances. No man of the match today because in my opinion all nine who played the second half were superb. Heads held high today boys
