Sandhurst Fight Superbly But Lose Out To Complete FC

<p>When you see a 4-1 scoreline it is easy to assume that the game was a little one sided. Not so. Once again, for the fifth game of the season we were let down on the day to find ourselves with one sub. We played superbly in the first half, with a defensive error giving them the lead on 16 minutes. They are a quality passing side, but some resolute defending and good goal keeping kept the score at one, and indeed, we had a couple of chances ourselves. On 65 minutes we saw one of the sweetest Sandhurst moves to date, leading to Andy putting in a peach of a ball for Dan to head home. Quality. Our luck ran out when Mikey came off injured on 68 minutes, with them hitting us for three goals in 8 minutes. Could've done a bit better with a couple of them, but to be fair, we had been defending so well and for so long it was no surprise to see some tired legs in the final 20 minutes. That is where fresh legs from the bench would have helped. But to be honest, the positives to be taken from this game far outweigh the negatives, and hopefully if the same effort is there in the next few weeks we can easily turn this around. Well played lads. Bloody well done indeed
