Sandhurst Gain Good Win Over Blackwater Badgers

<p>With a bare 11 for this game, we started really well, and within three minutes we had a penalty. Omer stepped up, and their keeper saved. We were the better team for the first 15 minutes, but as Blackwater grew into the game, we started to argue with every call and get on each others backs. It was therefore not a shock when a spill by Liam lead to a goalmouth scramble and Blackwater took the lead. The second half was much better. We reverted to three at the back, giving us more options up front. A good cross from Kenny was headed in by Omer to draw us level. A few minutes later Gaggsy crossed and James showed the front men how to hit the target. Next Steve turned provider with James scoring a good second. Sam then set up Omer who beat the offside calls and finished cooly. With 15 minutes to go things could have got nervy when we Blackwater got their second through a hotly disputed penaly, but we hung on well to close out the game, and get three much needed points. There are two lessons to take from this game...One, stop moaning at each other, and our play improves. Two, stop moaning at the ref because he will turn against you, its called human nature. Lets hope that we start the next game with the second half attitude from this game, and we will be flying.
