Sandhurst Grab Last Gasp Winner Against Blackwater Badgers

<p>It was hard work getting this game on. First Admiral dropped out, so we gained three points. This re-arranged fixture against Blackwater was a tough game. On a small pitch, the first half was pretty even, even though Blackwater only had ten men. They closed down everything and on a small pitch they were very hard to break down. they managed to catch us on the break on 60 minutes bursting through and giving Ryan no chance. Some of our players then started to argue, never a good sign. As Ryan says, it shows passion but sometimes we just need to get our heads down and play like we know we can. A switch to three at the back saw us improve, and a great move saw Sam put a great ball in for Liam who finished well. Minutes later a similar ball went in from Sam but the chance went begging. Just as it looked like a draw was on the cards, Scott got the ball a long way out, set himself up and hit a great shot into the top right corner. One hell of a goal to win a game, and there have been a few of those this year. Full credit to Blackwater for their effort...they looked gutted to lose. And heads up Sandhurst for the last few games. Lets push on and finish the season on a bit of a high
