Sandhurst Lose Close Game Against AS Camboli

<p>As games go, this was a big one, with second against third in the league. A few players missing, not for the first time this season, and not for the first time in a big match. That said, the lads were well up for this one, playing some good football. On 13 minutes and very much against the run of play, a quick counter attack saw them take the lead. All credit to the Hurst as heads stayed up, and we continued as before, very much the better team. Just before half time another quick break saw them go two up. We started the second half well, and on the hour we had a penalty. Alas, it was saved by their keeper. Still we plugged away, having the bulk of possession, creating chances but not finding a way through. On 76 minutes, Chris fed Rich (the rocket) who calmy put the ball over their keeper, no mean feat as he was at least 15 foot tall...great goal. Heads were well up, and we continued to dominate but just could not find the equaliser which was the least that we deserved. One of those days. We will play far worse than this and win by a country mile. Lets be having them when they come to The Hurst
