<p>Well, what can we say about this game? Having beaten the opposition twice before, confidence should have been high. We started well enough, with Scott hitting a blinder on 18 minutes to give us the lead. Ten minutes later Steve again with the assist for Omer to make it two. It should have been comfortable but just two minutes later a defensive mistake by Liam allowed them back into the game. A sluggish start by us at the start of the second half saw them draw level within a minute of kick off with a good strike. On 60 minutes Ryan came out to collect, fumbled (unusually it must be said!) and they pulled ahead. Three minutes later Steve with his third assist set up Chris Rose to pull us level. We reverted to a back 4 to stabilise at the back and allow our wide midfielders to play further up the pitch. From that moment it was all us, but we missed several good chances, hit the woodwork and then, when we earned a penalty, their keeper made a good save. One of those days, but it must be said fair play to Rose and Thistle, because they played like they really wanted it today
