Sanco Get Rare Win Against A Strong St Joseph Team 1-0 Jamie Leonard With The Goal

<p>10 men again thanks to drop outs and no shows but we had a strong 10 with Alex Elliot debuting.<p>We started really well and we're playing some good stuff but with no end product, there nippy striker was being kept quiet but there no9<p>Should have done better with the goal gaping after a boozy error but shot straight at josh<p>At the other end Jamie Leonard hit a spectacular overhead from a Deano whip that there keeper saved well and Alex Elliot<p>Some how managed to hit one between the rugby posts from 10 yards out h/t 0-0<p>We started the 2nd half really well and had a few chances, Craig Kendall with a few strikes he should have done better with<p>Jamie Leonard chipped the keeper but it drifted wide, at the other end sharpy cleared a header off the line<p>And blocked a shot after josh spilled a cross. We took the lead after Deano ran almost the full length of the pitch <p>And unselfishly passed to Craig who crossed for Jamie to volley home 1-0 Andy had run his socks off as usual but was carrying an injury<p>Which slowed him down so we were really down to 9 and st Joseph were pressing but we stood firm thanks<p>To some great team defending, st Joseph were awarded a freekick on the edge of the box in the 89th, there playmaker <p>Curled it round the wall and it looked to be heading in but josh produced a spectacular save to keep it out and we managed to see it out <p>For a rare win against a good st Joseph side.
