vs Forty Two FC Sundays
Home league match
It was a game between the top 2 in the division, which Ryhill deservedly ran out 6-2 winners.
Cladon Hickey got the early breakthrough on 15 minutes after running on to a through ball played by player of the match Dom Merrills.
Sheriff Fatty got Ryhills second of the morning on the 19th minute, smashing in a right foot rocket from 22 yards out, and only 2 minutes later Kai Ashton added a 3rd Ryhill goal, latching on to a long ball played down the middle, by goalkeeper Lewis Johnston.
Forty Two Fc got on the score sheet on 33 minutes when capitalising on a mix-up in the Ryhill defence.
Cladon Hickey got his 2nd goal of the game on the 44th minute and sent Ryhill in 4-1 up at half time after being played in by Kai Ashton.
Forty Two FC came out with a lot more physicality to their play at the start of the 2nd half and got a goal on 56 minutes after pressing the Ryhill defence. But that only seemed to spur on the Ryhill players, and Jake Blackwell got on the score sheet with a 25 yard shot which seemed to bamboozle the opposition keeper, and Kai Ashton got his 2nd of the game on the 77th minute and complete the Ryhill scoring after receiving a pass from Lewis Woodlands and stepping inside to roll a left footed shot in at the far post.
It was a great team effort that sees Ryhill FC sitting on top of the table at this early stage of the season.
