RIT Dubai hosted IMT at the HCT ground on 16 October 2025, with kick-off at 9:15pm in a league home fixture that turned into an astonishing goal-fest. Over the course of 70 minutes plus added time, RIT Dubai overwhelmed IMT with a remarkable 28-0 victory, leaving no doubt as to their dominance on the night in front of a modest crowd of 50 spectators.

RIT Dubai lined up in a 3-1-4-2 formation, deploying a back three of Mohsin Ayaz on the right, Mohamed Chahine centrally, and Aws Dashash on the left. Mohamed Saif operated as the lone central midfielder sitting just ahead of the defence, tasked with breaking up play and distributing the ball. Ahead of him, the midfield quartet consisted of Artur Farhutdinov on the right attacking midfield, Nariman Samani and Mohamed Haitam Yousfi in central attacking midfield roles, and Mohammad AlSayyed on the left attacking midfield. Up front, Masoud Barahoey led the line as the right forward, partnered by Hazza Yateem on the left forward position. This setup promised a blend of defensive solidity, midfield creativity, and attacking potency. The substitutes named were Saeed Alhashemi, Khalifa Albedwawi, Abdelhamid Darweesh, Armaan Shafique, and Omar Remawi.

From the outset, RIT Dubai showed their intent. Masoud Barahoey’s early attempt in the first minute went wide, quickly followed by a wide effort from Mohamed Chahine in the third minute. However, it was Artur Farhutdinov who opened the scoring in the fourth minute, expertly finishing inside the box with his right foot after a clever flick assist from Barahoey. The hosts continued their relentless pressure, and just three minutes later Mohamed Haitam Yousfi unleashed a stunning long-range strike from outside the box, neatly set up by a short pass from Mohamed Saif.

Nariman Samani tested the IMT goalkeeper with a saved effort in the eighth minute, while Hazza Yateem’s attempt went wide shortly after. Yateem then found the net in the 12th minute, slotting home a close-range finish with his left foot following a short pass from Barahoey. The forward was proving a constant threat, forcing a save and firing a high shot in quick succession. Barahoey was equally prolific, scoring twice in the 15th minute from close range, first from a goalmouth scramble and then with a left-footed finish following a flick assist from Yateem.

Mohammad AlSayyed’s high effort in the 16th minute was followed by a saved attempt from Barahoey. The right forward then scored again in the 18th minute, converting a long pass from AlSayyed with a left-footed finish inside the box. Shortly after, Nariman Samani showcased his individual skill with a solo goal in the 19th minute. Despite a saved effort from AlSayyed and a saved shot from Haitam Yousfi, RIT Dubai’s dominance was unrelenting.

Barahoey’s goal tally continued to rise with a header from a cross by Haitam Yousfi in the 23rd minute. Hazza Yateem then scored again in the 25th minute, finishing inside the box with his left foot after a short pass from AlSayyed. Haitam Yousfi added another spectacular long-range strike in the 27th minute, firing from outside the box with his right foot. The relentless barrage of attempts saw Barahoey’s shot saved in the 29th minute, but Yateem quickly capitalised on a corner in the 30th minute, scoring from a goalmouth scramble with a left-footed finish.

Artur Farhutdinov’s saved attempt in the 32nd minute was followed by a yellow card for Mohamed Chahine in the 33rd minute. Farhutdinov then added to the scoreline with a team move goal in the 34th minute, assisted by a flick from Samani. Half-time arrived with RIT Dubai already well in command.

Immediately after the break, Mohammad AlSayyed stunned the crowd by scoring directly from a corner kick with his right foot from long range in the 35th minute. Hazza Yateem and Farhutdinov both had wide attempts in the 36th minute before Samani struck another solo goal in the 37th minute. Barahoey’s shot was saved in the 38th minute, and Haitam Yousfi fired high shortly after.

Substitutions began in the 42nd minute with Khalifa Albedwawi replacing Mohsin Ayaz and Saeed Alhashemi coming on for Mohamed Saif. Barahoey’s high attempt in the 44th minute was followed by a saved effort from Alhashemi in the 46th. Barahoey quickly returned to scoring ways, netting in the 46th minute from a short pass by Alhashemi, then again in the 48th minute from a goalmouth scramble assisted by Yateem.

Despite a saved attempt from Haitam Yousfi in the 50th minute, Barahoey was substituted off for Abdelhamid Darweesh, who wasted no time making an impact. Barahoey scored once more in the 50th minute before Darweesh unleashed a spectacular screamer from outside the box with his left foot in the 52nd minute, assisted by Yateem. Saeed Alhashemi then scored a tap-in in the 57th minute following a short pass from Yateem, quickly followed by Farhutdinov’s team move goal assisted by Darweesh.

Further changes saw Omar Remawi replace AlSayyed and Armaan Shafique come on for Haitam Yousfi in the 58th minute. Farhutdinov scored again in the same minute, finishing inside the box with a short pass assist from Khalifa Albedwawi. Hazza Yateem added another tap-in in the 59th minute, flicked on by Farhutdinov.

Attempts from Alhashemi and Chahine went wide or high in the early 60s, but Darweesh continued his scoring spree with a left-footed finish inside the box in the 62nd minute, assisted by Khalifa Albedwawi. Samani followed with a close-range goal in the 63rd minute from a cross by Aws Dashash, who himself was proving influential. Farhutdinov completed a goalmouth scramble in the same minute, assisted by Darweesh.

Hazza Yateem and Farhutdinov had saved attempts in the 64th and 65th minutes respectively, while Khalifa Albedwawi’s shot went wide in the 66th. Saeed Alhashemi’s saved effort came in the 67th minute before Aws Dashash scored a fine solo goal with a right-footed finish following a short pass from Farhutdinov.

The scoring frenzy continued with Saeed Alhashemi netting a close-range tap-in in the 69th minute, assisted by Nariman Samani. A foul by Omar Remawi was noted in the same minute. Alhashemi then scored again in the 70th minute, completing a team move with a flick assist from Samani. Attempts from Alhashemi and Remawi were saved in the closing moments, while a foul by Darweesh was recorded.

Masoud Barahoey was deservedly named player of the match after an extraordinary performance that saw him score multiple goals and provide key assists throughout the game. RIT Dubai’s clinical finishing and relentless attacking play ensured a comprehensive and historic victory over IMT, who were unable to respond to the onslaught at any stage.
