It's 7 Heaven For The Revs

<p>The Revs have let themselves down in the past against Farcelona but this game the team was always determined to get into the opposition from the start.&nbsp;<p>It helped they were a man light. However it usually means The Revs panic with all the space but not tonight.<p>From the off The Revs went for blood and were on the scoresheet within the first 2 minutes when J. Evans whipped the ball into the oncoming Tyman to connect with.<p>The Revs didn't look back. J. Evans added minutes later after a pass through from D. Pinkstone.<p>Further goals were added from Beardall with a classy finish from distance and Tyman adding a second after a slide pass from L. Evans , with a an own goal making it 5 after good work from D. Pinkstone.<p>So 5-0 at the break and cruising. &nbsp;It's fair to say Steane had one of his quieter, more relaxed games although the lads did switch off a little and allowed a break away to occur. Steane slid in giving away a free kick but was alert with the save from the resultant free kick.<p>Steane also got involved with a quick throw out to D. Pinkstone who sped away to score at the near post.&nbsp;<p>Further goals should have been added in the second half with misses from L. Evans, J. Evans and D. Pinkstone but by this time the job was done and the foot got taken off the gas.<p>Beardall was enjoying the space afforded with his dummies and flicks but even D. Pinkstone got in on the act much to everyone's shock with a flick over an on rushing player leaving him wondering where the ball had gone.&nbsp;<p>It was D. Pinkstone who had the last word after a sublime pass into the near post from L. Evans to put the gloss on a fine 7 nil victory.<p>The Revs still almost added more late on when P. Pinkstone, seeing his brother grabbing the headlines, struck from distance but screwed his shot wide. J. Evans instinctively struck out a foot to connect crashing his shot off the post.&nbsp;<p>If ever there was an opportunity for P. Pinkstone to grab goal or even an assist this was the game. Alas time ran out much to the relief of the opposition.<p>Two victories in a row and a good confidence boost in front of goal taking the team to 5th in the table.&nbsp;<p>Onwards and upwards boys!!! Let's keep momentum going...<p><br>
