The Revs Get 'dicked' By Crystal Phallus

<p>With a renewed optismism following several great performances, The Revs came back to earth with a bang - a 12 goal blitz kinda bang.<p>It was certainly a game of two halves, The Revs putting all their effort into a come back of sorts after going 3 down in the first 10 minutes. Myers pulling off some wonderful saves to keep his team in the game.<p>Steane set Beardall up for his first goal of the season, quickly followed by Beardall asssisting Hartrick with a sublime one two and thunderbolt finish, 500th Revs goal, to make it 3-2 just before half time.<p>That was as good as it got for The Revs though. The opposition went up a few gears and the mistakes from The Revs set in. Myers suddenly wasn't as composed between the sticks and time and time again the team were hit on the break. Confidence was sapped as the opposition ran up double figures. D. Pinkstone tried his best to get some reward with two 'simulations', one resulting in a free kick, the other should have been a bookable offence... for a dive!<p>The end result was a very one sided 12-2 loss. Not the finest performance of the season, but hopefully this does not knock the confidence and spirit going forward. This is certainly the hardest fixture of the season against a well drilled and experienced team in Crystal Phallus.<p>The Easter break allows for a battery recharge before back tot he action in two weeks.
