Reigate Back To Winning Ways With Comfortable Win

Reigate finally got back to winning ways after losing 3 on the bounce. We'd already beaten Warren Mead Res once this season so we were confident if perhaps too confident. We started well and were rewarded when Smithy played the returning Danny in to make it 1-0. We made it 2 shortly after when Paul sent a throw in right on the keeper who flapped at it and the ball was helped in on the line by Danny. A 3rd came with 5 minutes to go in the half when Danny's pressure told and he dispossessed the defender and lobbed the keeper from range. We added a 4th just before half time when Rob Wigley was fouled and Danny's freekick took a slight deflection and beat the keeper easily. at 4-0 we sat off the gas and after half time made it 5 when Danny reached the byline and cut back for Jon Gillett to break his scoring drought by sending the keeper the wrong way. We took it way too easy after that and they managed to get 3 back but we should have made it 6 when Danny beat everyone but decided to take the piss and the keeper got back in time to clear. We saw the game out comfortably enough and go on to 15 points from 7 games. Up next is a home tie in the 2nd round of the Surrey cup
