<p>With both sides struggling at the bottom of the table but putting up good performances it was bound to be a close game and it was just that. Holland started the stronger with Reigate starting slowly as usual which wasn't helped by the injury to Carroll in the centre of the midfield and Holland put their pacey attack to good use when the centre midfielder bounded through the midfield and defence to round Damo and score. They shortly made it 2 when once again the wingers utilised their pace and got in behind the defence and Lewi brought down their defender in the box and a clear penalty was given which Damo got his hands to but wasn't able to keep it out. We hit back very quickly after the first goal with some smooth play that ended up at the feet of Wigley on the left who put a dangerous ball across to Mikey who cut inside and fired back across into the far corner. Damo who had a great game in goal deputising for the injured Goddard made a fantastic save tipping the ball onto the post and out but from the resulting corner we counter attacked and won a corner of our own from which Wigley found Mikey right by the 6 yard box and he dropped a header underneath the keeper. HT and 2-2 so we were in good spirits and had turned the game on it's head. 23 seconds from the kick off we had the ball in the back of the net again when Brockhurst found Smith on the right who played in Mikey who then found Wigley on the far side with a cross and he was able to lash home a volley from close range. After that it turned into a scrappy affair with Damo again making a few vital saves but there was only a few chances for the rest of the half. It looked like we were going to hold out for the win but 5 minutes before the end they won a corner and despite shouts that the ball had gone out of play which meant the defence stopped and Holland had a free header to equalise. It was a tough game but it was a game we should have won after a relatively solid performance where everyone put a shift in. Next week we make a trip back to holy ground and Molesey Hurst Rec to face old rivals Kingston Ravens in the 2nd Round of the Surrey Lower Junior Cup.
