10 Man Reigate Unfortunate Not To Take All The Points

<p>It looked like it could have been a long day for us as we realised that we only had 10 for what we knew would be a tough game. It looked even worse when Driver failed to claim a cross and Godstone got a free header in the box to score. Fortunately despite having only 10 we had a very strong 10 and we fought our way back in when Tulley found the ball at his feet after a poor clearance and he drilled it into the corner.The oppo lino loved his flag a bit too much but was thwarted when Sam played a clearly onside Mikey through who rounded the keeper and scored. 2-1 at half time and we were in control for the first 10 minutes with out 3rd coming from an indirect free kick which was laid off to Lewi from Sam and Lewi levelled it with a nice strike. Godstone had a player rock up at ht not even in kit who then came on and changed the game with 2 quick goals before their striker rounded the keeper and Rob couldn't get there. We weren't for beating though and 5 mins from the end Bickerton powered a header into the net from a Tulley corner. Realistically if we'd have had 11 we would have cruised the game but that is Sunday league for you. Both Tulley and Bickerton racked up some stats today but Peter Hames pulled the strings in the midfield today and get MOTM. On to Oxted next week!
