<p>In a vast turnaround from 2 weeks ago we were able to put to bed the demons by strolling past Charlwood. Despite the ref not turning up good old Sammy B stepped up to ref the game. We went with a different formation reverting to a 4-2-3-1 and it worked as we were able to flood the midfield and dominate it, allowing us to play further up the pitch and gain plenty of space. We took the early intiative when a long ball from mellows cannoned off hames into the path of Dean who stroked it over the keeper. They got one back due to the only real defensive error of the game but we were in fine form and started to dominate. A second came when Dean put in a great cross and left the defender helpless and he sliced it into the net. It was shortly 3 when Hames sent in Tulley who turned 3 players inside out before slotting in at the near post. We nicked another before half time when some great work from tulley allowed Mikey a free shot at goal and he rolled it in. Once we got to half time we took the pedal off the gas and sauntered our way through the 2nd half. Lovell's cross early doors found Gary who made no mistake putting it past the keeper before Dean finished his hat trick off with another tap in after once again some good work from Tulley. They got one back through a penalty before Lewi who got 10 minutes up front backheeled into the path of Mikey who dispatched the 7th. They got another due to a poor clearance but the game was well and truly buried at that point. A great performance which saw the defence enjoy time and space on the ball to beat players, Hames and Mellows ran the show at DM while Tulley and Mikey caused havoc on the wings but Dean relished the chance to play in the no.10 role and deserves man of the match for 3 goals and an assist. Much better showing this week despite only having 11 men, we have a tough game next week against Godstone and we'd like to think it will be 3rd time lucky for us against them this season.
