<p>A Reigate side missing many key faces turned up to Hamsey expecting a tough battle and that's exactly how it turned out. The first 25 minutes were all Hamsey as they put the pressure on us from the off. They were very fortunate with the first goal slipping under Lovell before adding a 2nd about 10 minutes later. Fortunately straight from the restart we got right back into the game when Hames played a cross field diagonal into the path of Shaban who scored a great chip with the outside of his boot leaving the keeper with no chance. This goal certainly seemed to rock Hamsey and we piled on the pressure for the rest of the half with the strikers having plenty of chances but were unable to convert. We were on top again at the start of the 2nd half and made it 2-2 on the 60 minute mark when a corner into the near post forced a bad defensive error as defender and keeper collided and the ball popped up to Dave Butler who volleyed home his first goal for the club from short range. Unfortunately the hero turned into the villain with about 15 minutes to go when a dangerous corner was played in by the oppo and the ball cannoned off Daves face at point blank and into our own net. In the mean time things got pretty feisty with Bickerton doing the texas two step with their left winger which was relatively entertaining. Despite going down once again our heads didn't drop and we gained the draw when a free kick from Lewi was deflected into the path of Fraser who slid onto the ball and hammered it home. Both teams had chances to win it in the last 10 minutes but a draw was a fair result. For motm it is again a tricky one, Butler performed well winning everything in the air and socred a good goal while unfortunately just being in the wrong place at the wrong time for the corner og. Lovell made some fantastic saves at time and certainly kept us in the game with them but Nathan was playing in an unfamilair position which is arguably the toughest postion on the pitch and had a great game putting in some vital tackles and scoring the equaliser so he gets motm. Our last game of the season is next week against Ifield Galaxy!
