Best word to describe the legendary striker of the RS Team. Long waited come back from Wong BH lead the line for RS against the veterans.
He lead by example in chase down every ball that pump up field, hold the ball & bring the attacking player into the play.
newly signed Yee Chard registered his 1st assist for the team when he spotted the run of Wong BH by sending an accurate long pass from defence to the space behind the opponent's defensive line, but still required the best from Wong BH by lobbing the goalkeeper from 16 yards out.
RS lead 1-0 in the early stage of the contest.
While RS still over excited in the early lead, USM veterans hit back within 5 min with the lapse of concentration from RS. RS midfielders failed to block a shot from just outside the area from the Veterans resulted a deflection to the striker where he shoot from the tight angle & brought both team to the equal terms.
RS regain their composure & pass the ball around with looking for the pass to released Wong BH up field.
RS 2nd goal is such a beauty team move, RS Seng Bak start & ended the move by sending the crowd into ruptured with the ball in the net. SB received the ball on the left wing, he spotted Wong BH is making a run behind the defence again, SB play a overhead pass to Wong BH & continue his run, Wong BH run with ball & send the ball cross field to Haniff, Haniff control the ball & cross back into center where Jye is making the move to attack the ball.
SB who admired Lampard's scoring ability, sensing there is a chance by running into penalty area, give a shout to Jye for a dummy where Jye duly obliged, SB hit a 1st timer half volley where is block by the defender but it come back to SB who dribble passed the defender & draw the keeper out before slotting into the empty net.
RS lead the half with a tiny advantage, 2-1
USM veterans come out the 2nd half by putting on their monster wingers where they increased their intensity. As usual, RS's energy level is dropping but still trying hard to hold onto the lead.
Too bad their attack is too much for RS to resist, they successfully broke the offside defensive line by tap in the center by their striker.
RS hold onto the draw with the midfield axis of Andrew & SB.
special mentioned to the defensive trio of guest defender Quah & Chard who repelled all the attack throw by the Veterans & keeper who is not beaten in 3 1 on 1.
