USM: Saturn tried but still unable to break the jinx of loosing to the USM veteran team by 2 goals to 4.
Switching Lau to the left wing from his favorite right is a brave tactical master stroke only for the execution to fail. Saturn under-estimated the failure to re-train Lau, as the usual behavior of directionless passing continued. A new survey by kapsiao.com showed Lau's fan rate has dropped to historical low.
Saturn head coach made bold tactical change by pulling the hardworking WJ to support the midfield, and re-installing Anip to lead the attacking line. Pulling Patrick to compliment EMLoke allowing EM to control the midfield ball distribution with ease.
Saturn played well, soaking up and defended the attacking pressures for much of the 1st 40 minutes. A counter attack from the left caught Saturn RB out of position and the Veteran broke the duck, 1-0 veteran took a lead.
Into the second half, Saturn's midfield and defense were caught sleeping and the Veteran's striker danced thru the lines and scored within the 1st minute of restart. 2-0 Veteran enhanced the lead.
Nip from RS reduced the defeat to 2-1 with an intelligent loop. Not only Nip has an intelligent head but his right leg showed the capability of clever chip.

The hardworking Moca Hooi replaced with Lau and caused some excitements in the attacking set-play. Hooi managed to equalize with a pacy acceleration by passing 3 USM vet and scored in a solo effort.
USM made several tactical change and asking questions to the defense line of RS.

"When USM attacked via their advanced midfielder, we moved Allan to DM to counter the threat. That made us vulnerable to the left side and we paid the price unfortunately." coach Mr X conceded.
"we played much better but we still need to improve our communications. We talked better on the field individually but we did not play as a team. I need everyone to play collectively the next game, improvement to the teamwork will be our next training focus." Mr X being interviewed.
