With the pandemic Covid-19 across the world, football has been stopped since March'20.
Life continue as always, football resume for Real Saturn behind a closed door stadium, with a new released of the jersey for RS on 2020 season.
RS has been training for the past 2 week to regain the fitness is the resume match against the barbarian team MPPP Jelutong.
long term absentee Patrick finally make his come back after a long lay-off, this is such an encourage moment for the team.
all teammates cheers on him when he stepped onto the field.
coach Mr.xXx start the game with the formation 352 which served the team well since the turn of the year. Adrian again lead the backline with the youth keeper Eash is playing after regular first & second choice keeper are ruled out.
Patrick partner Chard & Ed is the midfield while Haniff lead the line.
from the first whistle, both team started with the slower pace as this is the first competitive match for both team.
RS slowly pick up where they left off before lockdown, keep the ball well, used the ball wisely, both the wing back Lau & Davis have their space at the flank, the delivery is fine but the defender of MPPP stands firm & keep clearing the ball in front of RS strikers force in WJ & Haniff.
on half time, RS send on Moca & SB in place of Lau & Patrick. It inject a much needed pace to the team. within minutes, chard release moca who is unstoppable before lockdown with a long pass, moca manage to escape the defence & goes into penalty area, he control the ball onto his right foot & rifle towards the goal, keeper manage to punch it away & the shot straight to the keeper.
RS gets confident from the chance, keep pressing MPPP & managed to counter attack them swiftly.
RS managed to craft out more than 10 clear cut chances to break the deadlock. But unfortunately, all of RS striker forgotten their shooting boots at home with the opponent keeper is at the form of his life. RS squandered the chances to win the game.
Coach mr.xXx is very satisfied with the performance but is disappointed not take all 3 point. he wants the team to keep up the performance with a better shooting accuracy.
