RS finished their pre season strongly with a 2-0 victory against Motorola.
Haniff the legend striker is line up as a striker where he is so deadly few years back. Special mentioned also must go to Earn Ming who filled up the left back berth impressively.
RS control the match tempo with patiently build up play. On the half an hour mark passed, Patrick exchange passing with Chin Siang then flick the ball over Motorola's defence with haniff break their offside line. Motorola's keeper try to come out to force Haniff shoot early but the experienced tricky striker drop his shoulder to fool the keeper, carry the ball to the side of keeper & slot in the empty net.
RS come out from the half with 2 stronger team, they further display the discipline play where everyone is work together, pass the ball around with tempo under the guidance of SB.
RS did find the perfect timing to break quickly from the midfield where SB square the pass to right wing Moca where he saw Haniff's clever running behind the defence with the 1st time pass.
Haniff collect the pass & have his head up, saw Say Win is arriving in the area, he send in a low cross where Say Win swept home. 2-0 RS.
Motorola start to pick up pace try to put RS under pressure. But RS showed tremendous discipline & team work repelled all the pressure.
Final whistle RS 2-0 Motorola.
a win for the final preseason game, a clean sheet & a better team performance.
This weekend is where the real deal start.
