on the back of season opening of 9-0 defeat by Penang Wanderers, Saturn is on the another away day against newly team in MAS (campuk Race Course personnel).
with 1st team defenders is out of action, SB & Haniff the legend have to drop to CB to defend against the MAS.
unlucky for both of them as that is not their natural position, they got caught out for both goals of MAS where they caused chaos around the box & scored the opening goals through deflection.
thanks to sweeper keeper in Carter where he help out the high defensive line by Saturns.
Mr.X have seen enough of the 1st half, during half time, with the only fit defender Loke on the bench, Mr.X decided to bring him on in place of Chan. He also sub their superb winger Moca in place of Jye to try to push for goals.
thanks to the Cap SB's rally during halftime, start right from the 2nd half, Saturns keep pressing their backline & brought rewards after 10 mins, Sze Foo pressed & rob their defender to score Saturn's opening goal when the defender still wondering what had happened.
Been encourage from the start, after another 5 mins of pressing brought scoreline level through a wonderful team move. Haniff the legend who moved to control the midfield during 2nd half pressed & rob their midfielder, drive with purpose & send a though ball to the speedy Moca, without hesitation Moca fizzed a low cross across the goal where Mun Choy tapped in at the far post. What a goal & what a response from Saturns.
But the luck is not with the Saturn's makeshift backline where they failed the defensive line again to let MAS to score the 3rd goal at the tight angle.
Saturns didn't give up & keep pressing, with the effort Jye successfully draw a foul from MAS defender inside the penalty box, Mun Choy shoot the penalty down the middle of goal without any fuss. Saturns keep piling the pressure on the MAS in the final minutes but only can settle at a draw.
Post match interview Mr.X stated he wish to see the same fire at every match, the only thing is he wish Lau's a slowly recovery from the injury he sustained during CRC's match.
