RS Victory

RS winning again after 4 winless match before a short international break.

RS conducted a quick team building during the break, kick away some winless mood.

Against Flex FC who RS still hold the undefeated record, optimism is around the team to get the 3 point.

RS coach Mr.xXx started the match with usual formation but with Ad the defense general are on slight injury, Kam & Ed deputized in the central defence flanked by SB the captain & Uncle Paul.

Patrick is sent to be the striker after he score few goals in the training to help the team.

RS start the match on a little bit of back foot with Flex start brightly, pressing high & try to counter RS's possession.

In doing so, Flex open the scoring when they intercept a pass at the midfield, their midfield turn & take a shot from far outside the penalty area, caught RS & Ad the keeper off guard & flew into the net. Flex taking a 1-0 lead into the half time.

Coach Mr.xXx is making changes at half time to add more intensity to the play with Patrick leading from front, pressing Flex defence tirelessly, he force a mistake from their passing & manage to score a goal, too bad he is slightly offside.

RS gain more confidence from that, keep building the play & tighten the defence.

on 70th mins, Rooy control a pass on the left wing & drift passed2 defenders, square the ball for Patrick in the middle, he took a shot come back from the foot of the post, fortunately the ball fell to Patrick again, this time keeper made the save but again the ball fell to him, this time he put it past the keeper, RS 1-1. Patrick finally broke his duck & score the first ever competitive goal for RS.

RS continue to press after the equalizer, a neat passes between Rooy & SB, SB saw Patrick running on the right wing & release the ball to him, he sent a through pass for Rooy who beat the offside trap, when everyone thought Rooy is going to dribble past the keeper, he took the shot early which flat footed the keeper & into the net, RS lead 2-1 at the 80th mins.

Flex try to regroup & chase for equalizer, RS defense led by Kam & Ed stands firmed. Flex FC did create a chance from left wing, their left winger dribble past Chin Heng & Kam who dive in to shut down the space, Flex FC shot towards the goal, SB the captain who sense the danger & get himself back on the goal line & block the goal bound shot, he shouted out "not on his watch"

another attack from Flex FC fells to the hand of Ad the keeper who kick long to the field center, Patrick control the ball & passed to Rooy, who accelerate & go past Flex tired defenders, he dribble & get around the keeper & pass the ball into the empty net.

RS won the game 3-1.

Great win for RS, coach Mr.xXx very delighted with the performance of the team. He hope the team can carry on with the same spirit in more consistent way.
